We are looking for an energetic and passionate person to join our team as a Business & Financial Analyst

Responsibilities: In this role, you will work closely with our CEO and CFO to help streamline and manage financial processes and efficiency across HQ and all delivery channels.

Tasks:

  • Analyze short and long-term cash flow needs and assess performance
  • Help improve organization financial position by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management across all key performance indicators
  • Maintain database of financial and evaluation data by entering, verifying, and backing up data in platforms like Excel, Salesforce & other custom tools
  • Maintain internal reporting dashboards for team visibility into key metrics
  • Increase organization productivity by developing automated accounting, evaluation and operations applications
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
  • Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments
  • Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that support our goals and Theory of Change including annual impact reporting
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports including Key Performance Indicator measurement
  • Conduct regularly financial and impact reporting to support our fundraising and grant efforts and maintain compliance with funders and other requirements
  • Ensure compliance for key Operations functions such as insurance, legal, corporate returns, etc.
  • Other operations, accounting, financial and business analysis tasks as required

  • Budget vs actuals monthly
  • Cash flow update and analysis monthly
  • Akindi scantron roll out, analysis monthly
  • NPS calculation
  • Chapter dashboard
  • Annual report
  • CanCode reporting
  • Extra-provincial registrations
  • Insurance/legal compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Strong proficiency and experience working with excel and/or other data analysis platforms
  • Salesforce administration experience; a bonus
  • Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
