Yeeboo Digital is a young, rapidly growing digital agency with an established client base and a penchant for creativity and having fun. We work to support amazing nonprofit clients across North America. Our growing team is looking to add a creative and energetic Junior Web Developer / Support Services Tech to support existing client projects and help dream up new ones. We want someone who can think big, has a solid skill set, and most importantly who is interested in learning new things all the time - because, as it turns out, this Internet thing isn’t a fad and it changes a lot (it just changed while I wrote that..).

The Junior Web Developer / Support Services Tech is key to the success of all our digital projects and website support. You will be a key member of the Support Services team who work their digital magic to help our awesome clients with their day to day tech/web/code needs.

You will be making web updates, customizing donation forms, configuring P2P websites, setting up HTML emails, deploying analytics and crushing support tickets like the wizard you are.

The junior developer side of the role will focus primarily on building sites in Luminte Online, Engaging Networks and Wordpress. Full training is provided on our template products as well as the technology platforms you will use on a daily basis.

Second only to your amazing skills, it is very important that you can mesh with the team. We are small, innovative and very cross-functional – yes, we even fetch our own coffee. You need to be able to work independently yet under the direction of the digital producers you are working with. We also want someone who can add creativity, isn’t afraid to share, isn’t afraid to be wrong and who can collaborate as a core member of our team.

  • Supporting the Support Services team with the implementation and/or ongoing use of Blackbaud Luminate Online, TeamRaiser and Engaging Networks (training will be provided)
  • Supporting the Support Services team with configuration and update tasks related to client websites
  • Develop expertise on a range of non-profit online fundraising software such as Luminate Online, Engaging Networks, Great Feats, Salesforce, AKA Raisin etc.
  • When required, coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure projects schedules are followed
  • Ensuring all work is executed to the highest level of quality
  • Some additional administrative duties as and when required

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

  • 1+ years experience in HTML5/CSS3, Javascript (jQuery/AJAX), Responsive Design (Bootstrap/Media Queries)
  • A fast learner who is interested in conquering technology
  • General online and offline database knowledge
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Passionate about problem solving
  • Willingness to ask for help when needed
  • High organizational capacity and ability to follow project schedules and meet deadlines
  • Must be a regular and comfortable user of the internet, online social networks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite as well as Google apps (Drive, Calendar, Docs, etc)
  • Fundraising knowledge is a bonus

Industry and Technical Knowledge:

  • Knowledge and previous use of non-profit online fundraising and CRM software, such as Blackbaud (Convio) Luminate Online and TeamRaiser, Artez, Engaging Networks, Raiser’s Edge, AKA Raisin would be an asset
  • Experience with offline databases such as Raisers Edge is certainly helpful
  • Experience with online email platforms such as Constant Contact, Mailchimp or other platforms would be an asset

Experience and Education:

  • Post-secondary degree
  • 1-2 years’ work experience
  • Code School
  • School of Hard Knocks ;)
